Elements of Art

Mr. Dragonetti is teaching the “Elements of Art” and students have been looking for examples of these elements throughout the school.  They have taken pictures that represent them.  They will put the pictures into a PowerPoint and record their voices telling why they chose each picture to represent the element.

Create a Personal Logo for a T-Shirt

In art class, students will create an original work of art that expresses a personal statement and also applies the elements of art and the principles of design.  Mr. Dragonetti has designed this unit:  5-8 Logo Design-1

(The draft design will be scanned and put into Photoshop Elements for manipulation into a final product.  T-shirts will be made from the logo.)

Phyzios Studio – A Cool Tool for Science and Art!

  • Phyzios Studio – This is a cool physics/art program that lets you simulate different types of liquids and scenarios to see the outcome.  It is a free downloadable program you could play with for hours!  NOTE:  There are PC and MAC versions.  There is also a special plug-in for Macs.
